The Comparison Trap - "I'm not good enough for..."

Ngl, for every single person I've come across, I have at one point or the other felt intimidated and looked at them from the very narrow practical perspective of their lives with which I had seen them from. By this statement, I mean every single person I have metπŸ˜‚ so if you're reading this and you know Ify in person, yes, I have at one point 'eyed' you.  The comparison trap could come in comparing yourself with different things belonging to the people around you. It could come in form of wealth, beauty, talent, accomplishment, intellect, success, e.t.c. I'll be using myself as a major case study in this article because I am a person so guilty of this πŸ˜πŸ˜‚ or should i say entangled in this trap. Stress Management Techniques And Mindfulness Practices for Navigating Life's Challenges.

Understanding Stress Be it personal challenges, financial difficulties, or tension from the workplace or school, stress happens to be one inevitable part of our lives. To me, it seems like many of these youngsters are simply feeling down rather than clinically depressed. "They're just upset because they're not getting what they want," I'd say.  As time goes by on my little corner here, I might share some anecdotes about some people in my life. I'll touch on this topic lightly, staying mostly on the surface. Alright, let me share a personal story. There was a time when people thought I was spiraling into depression, but nah πŸ˜‚ I kept rejecting that notion. I had done my research on depression and was confident I wasn't slipping int...
