About Us

Style De Vie simply means lifestyle in french and was inspired by Gabriel Ifiok, otherwise known as Ify, an aspiring freelance writer since she was way younger. Though she's still a student of English language in the Lagos State University (LASU). 

Ify decided to take up blogging for a start up of her aspiration and dream and also due to the availability of very limited resources. 

The blog was started with the sole aim of improving her writing skills. Of course, no one is an island of knowledge, style De Vie is always opened and welcoming to suggestions of any sort.

 

The blog appears to be such a unique one as Ify's style of writing and choice of words is perceived different from that of regular writers. Some of her unique features include use of emojis as a way to express emotions, serve as a relief to readers and also told clarify some one or two's in posted articles, use of examples and instances in each and every posted article to make it easier and more understandable for readers. 

 

This particular feature also helps readers to relate to the topic bring discussed in a particular article. Another feature is the insertion of soliloquy to make readers understand the writer better. Look forward to many more from Ify for a more relaxed and stress free reading. Description: 😉

SUICIDAL ELIMINATION

I happen to be a person who can't comprehend suicide. That a person has the guts to not only get the thought of it but also act upon the thought overwhelms me and it is why I would always try to make people understand that there is a huge difference between mere sadness and depression... reference to my "you are not depressed, you are just sad" post. I'd say depression is a very severe form of sadness caused by a lot of *REAL LIFE* happenings to a person.  You see, a person thinking of suicide and acting upon it wouldn't or doesn't rather, wish to die. FAITH OR LIFE

  Sometime ago, I think published an article on religious bondage and I felt fulfilled speaking out on such controversial topic because it really used to piss me off… but up until some days ago, where a woman was trendy due to the fact that she happens to be under the shackles of her belief and her fellow believers. (Story time) Apparently, she had been sick a while ago, and rather than using a medical method to treat herself, she opted for a “traditional” means. This traditional means made her health get worse to the extent of having a very huge sore on her breast.
