DELAYED GRATIFICATION.
I will always tell youngsters like me to not be faster than their shadows- I mean, you can but you should not [I don’t know if we understand what I mean]. Between ages 13-18/19, your prior aim should be your personal growth, talents, skills, studies e.t.c. but in whatever you end up focusing on, bothering yourself with the thoughts of how to be in vogue, or how to please a person in the name of a relationship is something that should not be because you are more likely to be distracted from your main focus. For instance, me deliberating on saving up my allowance to get me a laptop or getting me a pair of loafers… My only gain in going for the latter [the pair of loafers] is feeling among and trendy, ignoring or forgetting rather, what it would cost me if I do not get me a laptop soonest.
