I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that we still have the whole of year 2026 and part of 2027 to continue living this way.  While prepping  this piece, I remembered a  song  that was on the lips of almost every Nigerian barely six months into this present government  (video attached beneath). I couldn't help but ask myself, were we really complaining about Mr. B AT  then, if only the future us had seen today, if only our 2023 selves  got a  peep into today to see that the order of the day has become kidnapping and terrorism and it is spreading like a virus at this point. These terrorists are not the regular terrorists, they are the content creator type of terrorists who update the country on their trips and yet we have the military doing nothing but standing by the same dangerous roadsides to collect common 200 Naira from struggling Nigerians who are trying to earn a living from transportation … Stay with me.   Only if Apostle Femi Lazarus had used another case study, he would have passed his message on peace without misconceptions and misunderstandings from viewers and listeners. Terming the mood swings that come with periods as being demonic is something really demonic itself. Till I turned 19, I never fully understood what period cramps meant or what they really felt like; and growing up with mostly females around me, I used to be the ONLY joyous person when I was on my period… everyone else would always wriggle in pain, in tears and most times could not even function, including my younger sister who has no access to the internet or social media, so are we to call her demonic for being overstimulated due to the pain that comes with period???
