TICK TOCK...

Time is running, time is expensive, time is fast and time is slow, time is precious, time is everything, time is life, and life is time. We all have our various definitions of time or how we perceive it. From my perspective, I see time as the expression that says, "You can't have your cake and eat it too." Once in a while, you might be able to eat your cake and still have some left, but when it comes to time, it is that cake you can never eat and have back.


The seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, or even decades you spend reading this piece can never be regained (although it might fetch you some vital information😉).  

Studying time to fully understand it is a complex endeavor. Time existed when God began to exist. The same way it is challenging to fully understand God's beginning, it is equally difficult to comprehend time. Of course, God existed before time, but "before" is an adverb related to time. God and time are very closely related.  


We are all at different stages in our lives. For some of us, we are behind in our achievements, meaning time is no longer on our side. For others, we are in line with our goals, and time is in our favor. Some of us are still setting our goals and working towards achievements. I happen to fall under the last category.  


Let's use me as an example in this piece

I can remember recently reflecting on my lifestyle and the people I surround myself with, and I was grateful for the people in my circle. I have always tended to surround myself with older people since I was younger. Personally, I believe that when you're surrounded by the right set of older people, you get to learn a lot from them through their experiences, advice, and suggestions. This learning can be direct or indirect. I would specially recommend this for teenagers. You will definitely gain something valuable from people older than you especially people in their 20's.  


Withstanding the urge to make references to my friends

I also remember having a conversation with someone some time ago. Amidst the conversation, I said, "I really wish I could be as developed as you all in your 20s are." He responded, "It's your time, enjoy it." I kept quiet but replied in my head, "Enjoy what? I'll enjoy it later, not now."  


The Bible was right when it says there is a time for everything. There's a time to be behind your goals, and surely the time to surpass them will come. There's a time to develop yourself, and the time to be developed will definitely come. Something we should bear in mind after reading this piece is that "TIME CAN RUSH US BUT WE CAN'T RUSH TIME."  

I was even rushing as I wrote this down... It's time for me to develop myself. What time is it for you?

    I can't say how much this piece of yours covered the issue of us being behind time but it what I do know is that it gave relevant information on a wide range of definitions, use and perception of what we think time is and what we ought to do with the time we do have now.

SUICIDAL ELIMINATION

I happen to be a person who can't comprehend suicide. That a person has the guts to not only get the thought of it but also act upon the thought overwhelms me and it is why I would always try to make people understand that there is a huge difference between mere sadness and depression... reference to my "you are not depressed, you are just sad" post. FAITH OR LIFE

  Sometime ago, I think published an article on religious bondage and I felt fulfilled speaking out on such controversial topic because it really used to piss me off… but up until some days ago, where a woman was trendy due to the fact that she happens to be under the shackles of her belief and her fellow believers.
