Settling for less


 SETTLING FOR LESS.

I bumped into this meme that said: “if you actually calm down to think about it, you’ll realize the reason you’re still single is most likely because you could be the “less” people don’t want to settle for”

*speaking solely against Gen Z girls, even if I’m Gen Z*

“I can’t settle for less”, “girl, don’t let anyone make you settle for less”… coming from “the less” 😏

What does it actually mean to settle for less?

Settling for less means settling for a situation or person below one’s ideal standard. (I’ll be addressing this financially, emotionally and mentally because this is meant to be a Valentine’s Day post). According to the meaning of settling for less, I personally see no reason why one would set a standard you’re not even up to.🤷‍♀️

Preaching to everyone about how you want an intelligent, rich, emotionally intelligent/supportive guy whereas, you’re just:

  •  So unintelligent

  •  A soft girl that should be babied and shouldn’t be working

  • Someone who can’t help with the littlest support you could give to a mentally stressed person

  • Only supportive when you’re sure of a financial reward in return.

What is my point exactly?

As a girl all about “not settling for less”, ensure you’re not the less by:

  • Trying to sound like a sane human being should.

  •  Having something legal to fetch you money so guys don’t embarrass you or better still, make you feel inferior.

  •  Trying your best to give him some alone time (if you’re not good at being emotionally supportive) rather than making him feel worse.

  •  Not letting a man have the mindset that you’re invaluable to him

SUICIDAL ELIMINATION

I happen to be a person who can't comprehend suicide. That a person has the guts to not only get the thought of it but also act upon the thought overwhelms me and it is why I would always try to make people understand that there is a huge difference between mere sadness and depression... reference to my "you are not depressed, you are just sad" post. FAITH OR LIFE

  Sometime ago, I think published an article on religious bondage and I felt fulfilled speaking out on such controversial topic because it really used to piss me off… but up until some days ago, where a woman was trendy due to the fact that she happens to be under the shackles of her belief and her fellow believers.
