What then is the beauty of maturing if not unlearning to relearn? I feel as humans, we may have at one point or the other let this mindset or mentality rather have the better part of us. Of course, I’ll always say it is normal to feel overwhelmed but while this is going on, we shouldn’t be carried away but rather, think of ways to get out of life problems and keep moving; and to do this, the very first thing to do is to delete the concept of THE VICTIM’S MENTALITY.   I always thought I was a Lagos girl till sometime in December 2024 when I got into a bus that gave me a better and clearer perspective of Lagos, Nigeria. Yeah, it’s story time this time around😉 So, apparently, my bus stop happens to be one where it is a whole war to find a bus; an affordable one for a student at that. 3 big Sanford buses could legit take a U-turn and would get full even before completing the U- turn, reason being that passengers would have already crossed to enter the bus on sighting it. Call this feminism, I do not care, but let it be known that “to every supremacy and authority of a man, there should be a limit” . Having an absent father at age 15, I really wonder if it’s what makes every 3 out of 5 people I meet have absent fathers as well. I mean, I grew up with some but I guess the rate just increased over time😅. You see, many a times,  men or males rather tend to complain when mothers get to be celebrated on Fathers’ Day too but then I’ll always say that if a mother plays the role of a father perfectly well, then why don’t I celebrate her on Fathers’ Day as well?
